Our client is seeking someone who is passionate about solving problems, possesses keen investigative skills and has proven analytical abilities with the desire to examine complex multi-line files for their claims team.
Key Responsibilities
-
Investigates and examines claims presented by independent and staff adjusters
-
Determines validity of claims
-
Examines records and reports
-
Determines amount of loss or damages covered by insurance policies
-
Fosters working relationship with various third parties, including independent adjusters and other insurance companies
-
Provides thorough investigations into claims settlements to determine that company policy was followed
-
Provides timely and effective communication of decisions
Qualifications
-
3-5 years related work experience in Claims Adjusting
-
Strong working knowledge of Insurance contracts
-
Excellent inter-personal, oral and written communication skills
-
Proven analytical, problem solving, investigative and organizational skills
-
Excellent computer literacy and keyboarding skills
-
CIP designation or near completion
